Goals for February and beyond

This didn't fit in the end-of-January newsletter.

I'm waiting to hear back from the audiobook distribution platform Inaudio if my recorded audiobook for A Lion's Head is quality-approved. I've also uploaded it to the soon-to-be-launched IndieAuthorConnect by IAX Audio.

  1. Book signing on 21st February at my local Indigo Bookstore.
  2. Recording the audiobook for A Lion's Pride.
  3. My illustrator Chris Ho, @algebutter, has completed his part of the middle-grade short story we're working on. Elise, @emsapublishing, has done her part with editing. It's my turn to finish revising and polishing the manuscript into its final format. We're aiming for a summer release for a short story featuring a demon of disease stalking a ten year old's family.
  4. Finish drafting A Monkey's Mask.
Illustration by Chris Ho, @algebutter. Ok, this image didn't make the final cut—too scary. But it was floated as an idea! Sri Lankan Yaksha meet Lysol!

An Aside

Few know I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Education full-time. This term I'll be teaching kindergarten (last term was Grade 2s). This is my secret for getting things done: when time is limited, every second counts.
